Goshen Valley Boys Ranch, a division of Goshen Valley Foundation, is looking for a Program Aide to work at our 160-acre campus located in northern Cherokee County which is home to about 40 young men in foster care.
As a Program Aide, you will work with and in support of the Houseparents and/or Case Manager or other employees according to the nature of their role.
You may be called upon to spend time in direct support or supervision of one or more individual residents who require special attention.
This may be through assisting with homework, chores, recreation, or other activities as directed.
Supervision and mentoring of residents as may be assigned and transport boys as directed.
A typical schedule is Monday - Friday, 4 pm - 9 pm; about 25-29 hours per week.
Requirements:
Program Aide candidates:
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Must have a minimum of a High School diploma or GED.
Must be of good character, and supportive of the programs, policies, and ideals of GVF.
Must be able to pass a drug and background check, possess a valid driver's license, and be insurable by GVF's insurance carrier.
Must hold, or be willing to seek, first aid and CPR certification.
Must be able to demonstrate the ability to provide moral, ethical, and spiritual leadership that coincides with the program and policies of GVBR.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
