Goshen Valley Boys Ranch, a division of Goshen Valley Foundation, is looking for a Tutor to work at our 160-acre campus located in northern Cherokee County which is home to about 40 young men in foster care.
In this position you will provide supervision and instruction to Goshen Valley Foundation students during their designated tutoring sessions.
Maintain required documentation of each tutoring session as required through the Title I partnership between the State of Georgia and Goshen Valley Foundation and provide support, through behavior management, for Cherokee County School District tutors during tutoring sessions.
Typical Schedule is:
Tuesday through Thurs 11-7pm; Approximately 16 hours a week.
Requirements:
In order to Tutor for Goshen applicants:
Must possess a High School Diploma.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
3 years of experience working with youth is preferred.
Must be of good character and supportive of the standards, policies, and program ideals of GVF.
Must be able to pass a drug and background screen, and be insurable/bondable by the GVF insurance carrier.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
